Sightings of Barbary macaques near Azrou are common but not guaranteed, since they're wild animals moving through the forest.
Is this trip suitable in winter?
Yes, though Ifrane occasionally sees snow in winter — a novelty for many visitors, but dress warmly and expect possible route delays after heavy snowfall.
How is this different from the other Fes day trips?
It's our nature-focused route — shorter and lower-cost than Chefchaouen, and a good complement to the history-focused Meknes & Volubilis trip.
